DSIP stands for Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide and is also known as emideltide. It is a linear peptide consisting of nine amino acids with the sequence Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu (WAGGDASGE). Scientific publications have investigated DSIP in connection with sleep–wake regulation and neuroendocrine processes. Its name originates from early experimental research into sleep regulation and does not constitute a claim of efficacy. The evidence remains limited. Small, older clinical studies have reported inconsistent findings. These findings do not establish the therapeutic efficacy or safety of the research product offered here in humans.
